How does the service work?
We are a weekly or every other week subscription delivery service. You choose what works best for you depending upon your own personal preference. You will receive a bin loaded with a variety of fresh organic fruits and vegetables. You can view a sample of this weeks boxes under the Choose a Box section of our Online Farmers Market. You can also purchase local organic bread (baked fresh daily) and other artisan goods to be included in your delvery.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends upon the bin size you choose. We have many different options available. You can choose which one fit your needs.
Mother Nature’s Box ~ $35 per delivery.
Ideal for 2 – 4. Our most popular size!
Family Size ~ $60 per delivery. This is our best deal!
Ideal for 4 – 8. Double portions not double the price!.
Fruit Lovers ~ $50 per delivery.
Extra fruit for fruit lovers!
Veggie Lover ~ $50 per delivery.
Extra veggies for veggie lovers!
Personal Bin ~ $26 per delivery.
Ideal for 1. Smaller quantities of almost everything
There is no membership fee, no tax, and delivery is included in the price!
Are there any other fees?
There is a one-time $10 administrative setup fee that is charged on your first billing.
How soon can I start?
Once you sign up we will notify you by the next business day and let you know when your first delivery will arrive. We attempt to get your service started as soon as possible sometimes even that same week.
Can I order extra items without ordering a produce box?
Yes you can however there is a $5.00 fee for any orders under $40 that does not include a produce box.
Do I need to be home?
You do not need to be present at the time of delivery. We will deliver your box to your door, concierge or office. On your next delivery day leave your empty box out for our driver.
How do I know in advance what is being delivered?
The contents will vary based on season and the quality of produce available. We attempt to buy local and in season as much as possible. We post the contents by Thursday 5 PM for the following week’s boxes. Due to the unpredictability of nature sometimes last minute changes are made.
What if I receive an item in my delivery that I am not satisfied with?
Contact us via email or phone and we will replace any unsatisfactory items in your next delivery or credit your account. We guarantee our produce and strive to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Do you ever deliver conventionally grown produce?
NO, only organic. We are very committed to bringing you safe healthy food that is grown without pesticides or any harmful chemicals.
Is everything certified organic?
Yes, unless otherwise noted.
How do I know what foods are in season locally?
You can go to our blog and search our local seasonal availability calendar.
Do I have any choice in the food I receive?
Absolutely! If there is something you want to substitute for something else on that weeks choices just go to our substitutions page and make a request. The substitution options that are available that week are listed there as well. Substitutions are due Monday by 11 AM. For bread delivered on Tuesday and Wednesday special requests must be in by Friday at 11 AM, and for deliveries on Thursday and Friday special requests must be in by Monday at 11 AM.
Where does the food come from?
We are committed to staying as local as possible! Even in the off seasons we are still very conscious about the carbon footprint. We believe it is important for you to know where your food comes from and to have the option to choose your food by the item or by where it is grown. For example we will never have an orange from Florida. If we have oranges they will be from California. Another example is bananas. The closest region where bananas are grown is Mexico. We choose to only buy G.R.OW. (Give Resources & Opportunities to Workers) Certified Organic Bananas.
What if I don’t know how to store or cook some of the produce?
We send out weekly recipes with the produce and there are many other recipes on our blog. We have storage tips available as well.
How do I find out if you deliver to my area?
Although the information on this website is accessible worldwide, our service is not available in all geographic locations. Our delivery schedule shows the areas we deliver to and is updated as we add areas. If you live outside of our delivery area and work inside the delivery area we are happy to deliver to your work if your company permits it. If you do not see your area on the schedule, please contact us if you are interested in picking up your produce at a locally hosted site or if you are interested in hosting a location site.
Is there a long term commitment? Would if I am going on vacation?
No, you can cancel at anytime with no penalties whatsoever as long as you remove your standing order at least two business days before your delivery by 11 AM.
Would if I am going on vacation?
If you’re going to be away, or for some reason prefer to skip a week no problem! Just put your order on hold under the vacation section on left menu when you are logged into your account.
Please remember: You must contact us by the required day and time for all cancellations or we will bill the credit card on file for the order. Mother Nature’s Organics is a subscription organic produce delivery service. Service and billing will continue according to your preference weekly or every other week until you notify us to stop. Payment is billed to your credit or debit card at the time of your original order and then on the prior day your future produce is delivered.
How do I earn Free Food? Tell your friends and neighbors about our organic produce delivery. When you refer someone please ask them to mention your name. After they purchase there second produce delivery we will give you a $15 credit off your next delivery! There’s no limit to the amount of referrals you can send us. (If you have a lot of friends – you could be eating free for a very long time!) This is our way of saying “Thanks” and letting you know we are grateful for you and the fact you are helping us to grow our business help others eat healthy. It’s that simple!
