How does the service work?
We are a weekly subscription delivery service. You choose what box works best for you depending upon your own personal preference. You will receive a box loaded with a variety of fresh organic produce. Once you are a customer you can also purchase local organic eggs and other artisan goods from our store to be included in your delivery.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends upon the box you choose. We have different box options available. We do require advanced payment of at least one delivery. We do offer the option to pay ahead. If you are an EBT purchaser, you will be charged on your delivery day.
Farm Box $38 Our best deal. This is our signature box and has a balanced assortment of fresh fruits and veggies (11 to 12 items). This box feeds 2 to 4 people. You will usually find a variety of a variety of lettuce or salad mix, a bunch of cooking greens, a root vegetable, some additional vegetables a few different types of fruit, periodically herbs and once in awhile you may even receive edible flowers. If you are looking for a great deal and are not a finicky eater this is the box for you.
The items put in the box are our top picks for fresh in season meals and a better value per item then if you buy them individually through our store. This box usually has one unusual item that comes with a recipe and often times a theme. We put a lot of time and energy into creating a box full of colors and textures for your cooking and eating pleasure. While there are no substitutions allowed we do post the contents on our site ahead of time so you can plan and you can always add more from our store if you would like.
Small Farm Box $29 Only one person or two that do not need a lot of produce. This option will work well for you. A smaller version of our Farm Box and designed to feed one to two. Includes a balanced assortment of 8 to 10 fruits and veggie items. While there are no substitutions allowed we do post the contents on our site ahead so you can plan and you can always add more from our store if you would like.
Custom Box $This is a box that you create yourself out
of the items that are available each week. $40 minimum to ..? Feeds 1
to …? you decide. Each week you can customize your own box at our online
store. This is a great option for anyone that has dietary restrictions
or would like the option to choose what items you receive in your weekly
CSA box. If you get busy and forget to choose anything no worries we
have you covered. We will bring you a farm box that week.
Donation Box $29 We have been donating weekly to the food bank, cancer, stroke and heart patients since we started our service in 2008. Many of you have donated as well. Now we have the option for you to contribute by purchasing a box to donate on a regular basis if you would like. For every 3 boxes donated we will match by donating a box as well. Last year we donated over 1000 lbs of food!
What if I do not use all of my Custom Box credits?
Custom Box credits do not carry forward from week to week so please remember to use all of your credits every week, unless you have a hold on your account. If you do not use any of your credits, you will receive a Farm Box.
Are there any fees?
There is no membership fee, and no tax on food. There is a $2 delivery fee for doorstep delivery. It is waived if you pick up at a host site or are paying with EBT.
How soon can I start?
Once you sign up we will notify you by the next business day and let you know when your first delivery will arrive. We attempt to get your service started as soon as possible.
What is your Delivery Schedule?
We deliver 3 nights a week Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. We go to different neighborhoods on different nights. Visiting each neighborhood only once a week helps us to help us save time and energy resources.
What are your online store hours?
Our online store hours depend on your delivery day. If your regularly scheduled delivery day is on Tuesday or Wednesday morning, our store is open from Friday at 9AM and is closed on Sunday at 8AM.
What are your office hours?
We do not have specific hours that we are in the office. We spend a lot of time planting, cultivating and harvesting in our fields so we are not always able to get to our phone calls. We frequently check our email; and phone messages are checked once in the morning and once in the late afternoon, Monday through Friday.
Can I order extra items without ordering a produce box?
No.
Do I need to be home?
You do not need to be present at the time of delivery. We will deliver your box to your door, concierge or office. On your next delivery day leave your empty box out for our driver.
How do I know in advance what is being delivered?
The contents will vary based on season and the quality of produce available.We post the contents on our website ahead of time for the following week’s boxes. Due to the unpredictability of nature sometimes last minute changes are made. *Some items may be substituted for out of state produce when local quantities are low.
What if I receive an item in my delivery that I am not satisfied with?
Contact us via email or phone within 24 hours and we will give you the same item, or a like item, in your next delivery. We guarantee our all of our produce and strive to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Do you ever deliver conventionally grown produce?
NO. We are very committed to bringing you safe healthy food that is not genetically modified or and grown without pesticides or any harmful chemicals.
What if I don’t know how to cook some of the produce?
We send out weekly recipes with the produce especially the more unusual items.
What if I do not like some fruits or vegetables?
You could give unwanted items to your family, friend, neighbor, or a coworker. Or you could go with our custom box.
Where does the food come from?
We grow produce on our farm for 10 months out of the year. We have local items in the our boxes 12 months out of the year. Although wWe only bring you food that has been grown with no non organic herbicides, pesticides or fungicides and no genetically modified seeds!
In the off season we supplement our
delivery service with crops grown outside our region, we also buy
premium fruits and vegetables from several of Washington’s top organic
farms, including Ralph’s Greenhouse in the Skagit Valley, Willie Green’s
in Snohomish County, and Earth Conscious Organics in Eastern Wa . In addition,
we purchase from Organically Grown Company, a regional organic produce
distributor, and Farmer’s Own, a network of organic farms that market
through Charlie’s Produce.
When needed to make our bins balanced and complete, we supplement include fruits and sometimes greens etc. from California, and sometimes Mexico. If we do get food from California or Mexico it is always from certified organic farmers we trust. If you ever want to know where a particular item comes from feel free to ask us and we will be happy to tell you. We always buy seasonally, so you will never find apples from New Zealand of blueberries from Chile for instance. We are very passionate about locally grown food and living sustainable.
How do I find out if you deliver to my area?
Although the information on this website is accessible worldwide, our service is not available in all geographic locations. Our delivery schedule shows the areas we deliver to and is updated as we add areas. If you live outside of our delivery area and work inside the delivery area we are happy to deliver to your work if your company permits it. If you do not see your area on the schedule, please contact us if you are interested in picking up your produce at a locally hosted pick up site or if you are interested in hosting a location site.
How do the Pick Up Sites work?
We will deliver your chosen box size to your chosen pick up site on the assigned delivery day for that pick up site. Once you are an active customer, you will see a tab called "Pick Up Directions" which will show you the exact delivery address. You will need to pick up your box within 24 hours or it will be donated.
Is there a long term commitment?
No, you can cancel at anytime with no penalties whatsoever as long as you give us 2 weeks notice.
What if I am going on vacation?
If you’re going to be away, or for some reason prefer to skip a week no problem! Just let us know the week before your next order. If you know that you do not want to receive a delivery one week, email us and place your delivery on hold. You must contact us by the required day and time for all holds or cancellations or we will bill for the delivery. We are a subscription organic produce delivery service. Service and billing will continue according to your preference weekly until you notify us to stop. Your credits will not carry over from week-to-week.

How can I receive free food?
We believe everyone has the right to good food! If your budget is tight we have created a some options for you to earn free food. You can earn free food simply by telling your friends and neighbors about our produce delivery service. When someone you refer signs up you receive a $15 credit towards food on your account. When you refer someone please ask them to mention your name. There’s no limit to the amount of referrals you can send us. (If you have a lot of friends – you could be eating free for a very long time!) This is our way of saying “Thanks” and letting you know we are grateful for you and the fact you are helping us to grow our business help others eat healthy. It’s that simple!
We also have a volunteer program. This is where you can come out to the farm and volunteer. This allows you an opportunity to spend time in nature and participate in growing food. Not sure how, that's okay we will teach you and when we have extra produce we will share it with you.
